An academic program designed to diversify the pipeline for talent and create leaders in the entertainment industry.
Eligibility
Students must be a junior majoring in Music, Art, Theater, Film & TV, and PR, or a second year law student. Candidates will have to complete an application and interview to be considered for the program.

The vision of Howard Entertainment is to offer a one-of-a-kind experience for students interested in all aspects of entertainment, from project greenlighting, to PR and marketing, to entertainment law and finance.
About Howard Entertainment
The program is designed to diversify the entertainment industry by creating a pipeline for African-American students and other marginalized populations to train and study alongside entertainment executives. It offers students a unique interdisciplinary curriculum, coupled with hands-on work experiences and networking with entertainment industry partners.

Student Experience
Howard Entertainment provides an innovative academic experience to students interested in pursuing careers in the entertainment industry. Students received rich academic exposure in courses co-facilitated by Howard University professors, executives and industry notables, including actress Susan Kelechi Watson; actress Ashley Blaine Featherson; and Charles and Stacy King, the CEO and Chief Brand Officer, and Co-Founders, MACRO. Participants had opportunities to learn about and gain experience in all aspects of the entertainment ecosystem, including development, casting, marketing, production, business affairs, and music. As part of the program's second semester, students participate in summer internships across the entertainment industry.
